Health Ingredients Japan has been held annually in Tokyo since 1989. It is the leading exhibition of its kind in Asia and it continues growth each year in line with the expansion of the health foods market. Hi Japan 2007 saw a total of over 585 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions met with more than 40,000 buyers and industry professionals. Hi Japan is now established as a global event with international participation in the show increasing every year. In 2006, a total 500 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions met with almost 45,000 buyers from the industry.
At Hi Japan 2007 national pavilions are planned for:
the USA, Canada, Finland, China, Korea, New Zealand and Taiwan.

A high-profile conference will focus on trends both in the Japanese and international health marketplace, as well as other trends affecting product development and marketing.

Exhibitor presentations enable exhibiting companies to present papers introducing new products, the results of research or the announcement of new business developments to their Japanese customers and partners.

Overseas Product showcase is the special program of presentations introduced by international exhibitors. In 2006 edition, we focused on the innovative ingredients and services offered by six countries, the USA, Canada, Korea, China, New Zealand, Finland, and their strategies for entering the highly competitive market of Japan.

This special networking meeting offered overseas Hi Japan exhibitors an opportunity to express and discuss issues regarding health ingredients and to obtain information about Japan’s Food market. About 100 people from overseas and domestic ingredients manufacturers participated.
